SelfDefence "pepper spray"

Along with overall development, new age is also attracting all kinds of vices metropolitan cities are synonymous with. Atrocities against women and the elderly have increased by leaps and bounds in the state. Women are increasingly hitting the roads, they also need a reliable self-defense tool that is discreet, effective and reliable.

SelfDefenz pepper spray may be a novel product for self defense, but its demand is steadily increasing because of rising criminal atrocities against women. The spray is a non-lethal self-defense weapon, designed especially for women and the elderly and which can be effectively used in the time of attacks by criminals

This claims that this is the most handy and effective weapon to keep miscreants at bay and help women move about freely and without fear. The single working woman who stays late in the office might find it most useful. It can be used by anyone who falls in a dangerous situation anywhere, may it be at home, on the road, in a train or even in a park. The spray is not lethal and users need not worry that they may maim a person for life if they use it.The contents of the spray never causes any life-long impairment or any other long-lasting ailment. It only paralyses the attacker temporarily. As the constitution clearly envisages right to self defense for every citizen, there is no legal barrier in carrying the pepper spray.

Unlike firearms, the spray does not require a license. The only problem is that it could be used for illegal or criminal activities. Taking such possibilities into consideration, the product is sold only directly to known persons, whose address and contact details are collected by the seller. Using a pepper spray is very easy. All you need to do is to spray the content in the canister at the offender. A 'shot' can cover a distance of six to eight feet. To keep it handy, the spray can be kept behind the front door, behind the kitchen door, in the car, in the hand bag or even in the pocket. However, like any other pungent material, the pepper spray must be kept away from children and users need to be careful enough to avoid accidental usage. SelfDefenz Pepper spray contains an extract called Oleoresin Capsicum (OC), which is twenty times hotter than the hottest chilly we get to see in our kitchen. The content is provided in a pressurised  canister.

Once sprayed, the contents act immediately. The attacker is incapacitated for 30 to 60 minutes and the burning sensation will leave the attacker temporarily blind. Mucus membrane gets swollen and it would choke the attacker for few seconds. The effect of the spray will leave him drooling with a running nose.

Secondary effects such as coughing, sneezing and burning would ensure that the attacker would undergo a nightmare of his/her life. This gives enough time to escape easily or call the police. The spray should not be carried in a cabin baggage, inside a flight or in a closed vehicle.
